Dr. Sam was raised in the local community in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. She is a graduate of Monmouth University with a degree in Chemistry and received her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sam completed her pediatric residency at Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, NJ where she received the Hemant Kairam Award for Excellence in Pediatric Primary Care, The John Chappel Award for Compassionate Communication in Pediatrics, and the Benjamin Josephson Award for the Most Humanistic Approach to Pediatric Care.
She serves as a member of the Executive Council for the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Sam has a special interest in encouraging positive mental health and healthy lifestyles. In her free time, she loves cooking, spending time with her family, and hiking with her husband and dog!
